Fun visiting the Affordable Art Fair in NYC

Every year we look at options for participating in art fairs across the country. While Sun Valley is a vibrant arts community that has supported its galleries year after year, we still find ourselves operating around the seasons between winter and summer. Town is quiet giving us more opportunities to participate in art fairs world-wide.
Gilman Contemporary has participated in art fairs for the last three years and this year we are pleased to announce our participation in artMRKT SF in May. This will be our second year back to San Francisco and we look forward to seeing our west coast clients and friends, as well as meeting potential new ones. The art fairs are a unique opportunity to make new connections with galleries and clients. We are proud to be a part of this year's fair.
So much more goes into planning for an art fair than one may think. From designing the layout of your booth to what artists to exhibit, the details are endless. However, they are also exciting to plan.We thought it migh be interesting to see what is involved in participating in an art fair. Follow us as we make our decisions, prepare artwork for shipping, set up our booth and "take our show on the road".
For now, enjoy a sample of the artists we plan to exhibit at the fair. More to come on the decisions we made on booth layout, etc...
